DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and deployment processes to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Implement and maintain containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements for reliability and scalability
• Implement and maintain security best practices across all infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment processes
• Manage and maintain configuration management tools
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering role
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)

Nice to Have

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Knowledge of database administration and optimization
• Experience with serverless architectures
• Familiarity with GitOps practices
• Experience with multi-cloud environments
• Knowledge of security scanning tools and vulnerability management
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
