Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Analyze target audience behaviour and segment data to create personalized
and targeted email campaigns.
Campaign Management:
- Design, create, and optimize email campaigns, including copy, creative assets, and landing pages.
- A/B test campaigns to maximize performance and optimize open rates, clickthrough rates, and conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to refine and improve campaign
effectiveness.
List Management:
- Manage and grow email subscriber lists, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Implement best practices for list segmentation, hygiene, and data integrity.
Automation and Personalization:
- Implement marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and guide them through the sales funnel.
- Utilize dynamic content and personalization strategies to enhance customer
engagement.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and analytics professionals, to ensure seamless execution of email campaigns.
- Work closely with other marketing channels to integrate email marketing into broader marketing initiatives.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM, and ensure all email marketing activities comply.
- Provide regular reports on the performance of email marketing campaigns, highlighting key insights and recommended improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in web development, with a focus on WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like React or Vue).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, metrics, and industry trends.
- Proficient in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and email design best practices.
- Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in email marketing.
