Quality Assurance Lead

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to oversee our QA team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be responsible for developing testing strategies, managing the QA process, and leading a team of QA engineers to maintain our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance and mentorship
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and test plans
• Establish and maintain quality standards and testing processes
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple projects and teams
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks and processes
• Review and analyze test results, and report on quality metrics
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Manage defect tracking and resolution processes
• Conduct risk assessments and prioritize testing activities
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging testing technologies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• 2+ years of experience in a QA leadership or management role
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Proficiency in programming languages for test automation (Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with performance and load testing tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile application testing
• Knowledge of API testing and tools (Postman, REST Assured)
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms
• Familiarity with security testing methodologies
• Knowledge of database testing and SQL
• Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr)
• ISTQB or similar certification
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Knowledge of accessibility testing standards
