VFX Artist

Job Description

We are seeking a talented VFX Artist to join our creative team and bring stunning visual effects to life. You will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects for various projects including commercials, digital content, and interactive experiences. Your expertise in compositing, simulation, and digital artistry will help create immersive visual experiences that captivate our audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual effects for commercials, films, and digital content
• Develop and implement VFX shots including compositing, tracking, and simulation
• Collaborate with directors and creative teams to achieve visual storytelling goals
• Create realistic particle effects, fluid simulations, and dynamic animations
• Perform 3D tracking and matchmoving for seamless integration
• Develop and maintain VFX pipelines and workflows
• Create photorealistic digital environments and set extensions
• Optimize VFX assets for different platforms and rendering requirements
• Stay current with emerging VFX technologies and techniques
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide creative solutions

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional VFX experience
• Expertise in Nuke for compositing and VFX work
• Strong knowledge of Houdini for procedural effects and simulations
• Experience with 3D software (Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D)
• Proficiency in particle systems, fluid dynamics, and rigid body dynamics
• Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, and cinematography
• Experience with VFX pipelines and production workflows
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality VFX work
• Knowledge of rendering technologies and optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and technical skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time VFX in game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity)
• Knowledge of Python scripting for tool development
• Experience with machine learning applications in VFX
• Familiarity with virtual production techniques
• Experience with VR/AR visual effects
• Knowledge of procedural modeling and texturing
• Experience with photogrammetry and 3D scanning
• Understanding of physical-based rendering (PBR) workflows
• Experience working in feature film or high-end commercial production
